Blackberry launched their third Android-powered smartphone- the DTEK 60. The smartphone has been making waves for quite some time and the struggling smartphone brand finally unveiled it.
Before diving into the specifications of the smartphone, make a note that the Blackberry DTEK 60 is the rebranded version of the Alcatel Idol 4S, which Blackberry’s software customizations.
Speaking about the features of the smartphone, the major highlight of the smartphone will be the quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch 2K display with a pixel resolution of 2560 * 1440 pixels resulting in a pixel density of 534 PPI. Another highlight of the smartphone is the 21MP rear camera with an 8MP shooter on the front.
The Blackberry DTEK 60 also has a fingerprint sensor on the rear and packs a 3000mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s own security touches. The device is priced at $499 (approx. Rs. 35,000) and there are no words from the company in terms of Indian launch.
