Google launched the ‘Made by Google’ Pixel phones last month and a couple of days ago, the smartphones went on to sale in India. Both the Pixel and Pixel XL runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with some exclusive customizations.
The Android 7.1 Developer Preview is already rolling out to Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X, however, folks at XDA Forums are not mocking around to bring the Pixel-exclusive features to Nexus phones.
One of the best features was the Google Camera app in Pixel phones, which now has manual controls and several other tweaks. In this article, we will teach you on how to get the Pixel camera on Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X running Android 7.0 Nougat.
Step 1: Download the Official File
The first thing to get the Pixel camera on your smartphone is to download the mod from the XDA Forums. We have linked the download file at the end of this article.
Step 2: Install the Download APK File
Now, just install the downloaded APK file from the first step. Make sure that you have enabled the unknown sources in the settings app. To enable, just follow these steps: Settings> Security> Unknown Sources (Enable it).
Step 3: Reboot your Phone Once!
After downloading the file, just reboot your smartphone once only if you face any issues like application crashing frequently.
