After all the leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A are now official in China. The Apple of East unveiled both the smartphones and as expected that are priced aggressively.
Speaking about the Redmi 4, the smartphone comes in two variants- a normal variant and a Prime variant and the difference between both the smartphones is keen on. The normal Redmi 4 comes with a 5-inch 720p display along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, the Redmi 4 Prime comes with a 5-inch 1080p display along with a much powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and 3GB of RAM.
Both the smartphones comes with the same camera setup of 13MP rear camera with a single-tone LED flash and a 8MP front-facing snapper can be seen on the front for selfies and video calls. Both the smartphones runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top of it and has 4100mAh battery.
Along with the Xiaomi Redmi 4, the company also unveiled the smaller Redmi 4A which comes with a 5-inch 720p display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with 2GB of RAM. The camera setup is the same one as seen on the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime. This Redmi 4A also runs MIUI 8 and comes with a smaller 3050mAh battery.
