Lenovo’s child brand, ZUK might soon launch another smartphone. Spotted as ZUK Edge, the smartphone will feature top-notch hardware and also said to have dual curved display, same as the Galaxy Note 7 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
As the name itself suggests that the ZUK Edge might sport a dual edge display, however, the images spotted on TENAA doesn’t show whether it has the edge display or not. But, earlier leaked rumors suggested that it will come with a dual curved display to compete the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
The TENAA listing also revelaed the key specifications of the smartphone. The ZUK Edge will feature the model number as Z2151 and might sport a 5.5-inch display, however, the panel is just a full HD one. The ZUK Edge will pack the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, which is a quad-core chip with all the cores clocked at 2.35GHz. There will be just 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal stotage. Having said that, the Adreno 530 GPU will take up the graphics processing in the phone.
Camera wise, the ZUK Edge might feature a 13MP sensor on the rear with support for PDAF and LED flash. There might be an 8MP front-facing camera. All this package will be backed by a 3000mAh battery and the smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the company’s own Zen UI on top of it.
As of now, there is no information regarding the launch date of the smartphone officially, but previous rumors suggested that Lenovo is planning to launch the ZUK Edge sometime in December.
